BWild Products ("we", "us", "our") is a web design studio based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is needed to run the website:
Sometimes the details you give us are about other people — a staff member we should contact, for example. Please only share their details if you're comfortable doing so, and let them know we'll have them.
We never ask for bank account numbers, card numbers or passwords through this website, and you should never send them to us that way.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
We sometimes set up a private page on this website for a client to fill in — a questionnaire about their project. These pages are unlisted and set not to appear in search engines. Two things worth knowing:
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. Each has its own privacy policy:
Some of these providers store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By sending us information through this website you agree to it being handled this way. We only use providers we believe take security seriously, but we can't control their systems, and no method of sending information over the internet is completely secure.
When we build or look after a website, online store or booking system for a client, they normally give us access to their own accounts — hosting, domain, email, and platforms such as Shopify or WordPress. Those accounts belong to the client, not to us, and any customer information inside them is the client's responsibility under their own privacy policy.
Where we're given that access, we only use it to do the work we've been asked to do. We don't export, copy or use a client's customer lists for anything of our own, and we hand access back or step aside whenever a client asks.
The site may use minimal cookies for basic functionality and, if analytics is enabled, to collect anonymised usage data. Project brief pages also use your browser's local storage to save your answers on your own device, as described above. You can clear both through your browser settings at any time.
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond. Project information is kept for as long as we're working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, tax obligations and in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we'll do it unless we're required to keep it.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To do so, contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll do our best to sort it out. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
